Elizabeth Langslow is a photographer and filmmaker who specialises in documentary and multimedia projects for community development and education. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History (University of Melbourne) and a Masters of Social Science in International Development (RMIT). Elizabeth was also awarded the Inaugural Desmond Tutu Fellowship by the Global Reconciliation Organisation. Her project about the power of sport and reconciliation received a nomination for a United Nations Media Peace Award.
Elizabeth’s photographic, research and community projects have been published nationally and internationally including television, magazines, journals, exhibitions and film festivals. Elizabeth’s research interests include the uses of digital media as an agent for expression, literacy, and participation in debates around development.
Elizabeth lives and works in the Country of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples. She acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters, and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
